Exceptionally rare Phalaenopsis micholitzii is a warm-growing, miniature orchid species characterized by its fleshy, oblong to oblanceolate leaves and creamy-white to greenish-yellow, star-shaped flowers.

The flowers, which bloom in the summer on short, 1-3 flowered inflorescences, have a delicate, almost waxy texture and may have a slightly lighter center. They are typically 6-8 cm in diameter.
